Rope

We have various diameter and lengths of rope in our hire and sales stock. Our rope range are all Duradan polypropylene. Sizes range from 3mm dia to 30mm dia. The 3mm dia rope is idea for blowing down ducts and using as a draw rope. Our 12mm - 30mm range are used for various cable hauling jobs. All our ropes have an eye each end that allows you to attach a shacles and swivel for either joining lenghts of rope or attaching a cable sock to the end of the rope. We supply our 100m length ropes in plastic drums and any longer length ropes are supplied on wooden drums for ease of use. Note if you are hiring longer lengths of rope that are on a drum you may require a suitable set of drum jacks to lift the drum off the ground.

For hauling - always use the largest practical rope to reduce stretch and back lash. It will also make is easier to handle and has a better grip on the capstan drum.
