Proving Pig \ Mandrel

Proving Pig also known as a Mandrel

Used to prove conduits before hauling in cables. Mandrel \ Proving Pig sizes range from 50mm dia to 150mm dia. We can offer mandrels made from either aluminum or wood. In our aluminum range the face lengths of these Mandrels is 200mm long and an overall length of 300mm long. Our wood range can be made to suit your requirement.

For use in a conduit you want the mandrel to be 10% less than your conduit ID dia.

It is important when using mandrels \ proving pigs that you have a rope tied each end so if the mandrel gets jammed in the direction you are pulling it you can pull it back the way it came from to get it out the conduit you are checking.
