Trailerised Fibre Optic Hauler

Our Hydraulic Fibre Optic Winch is mounted on a turntable on a trailer with the powerpack that drives the winch also mounted on the same trailer. This allows the Winch to be rotated in line with the pit or pulling point. Once in position the turntable can be locked with the locating plate in the base. As the trailer may be located some distance from the pit or conduit we have fitted a control (on\off) switch on an extension cord that will allow you to stop and start the winch from a distance. There is also a fleet out sheave mounted to the top frame of the hauler.

For hauling - always use the largest practical rope to reduce stretch and back lash. It will also make is easier to handle and has a better grip on the capstan drum.
